TN Commission on Aging and Disability
Medicare ABCs, with Ryan Ramsey, Melody Conkin, and Regina Udomratanavasi
One of a series of lectures presented on the campus of Northeast State Community College on Saturday, October 18, 2014 as part of Tennessee for a Lifetime. This lecture, "Medicare ABCs," was created and presented by First Tennessee Area Agency on Aging and Disability (FTAAAD) SHIP Coordinators Melody Conkin and Ryan Ramsey, along with Regina Udomratanavasi of Social Security. The presentation will help you learn about the different parts of Medicare, the different types of coverage, Medicare enrollment and deadlines, and programs to assist with premium payments and lower co-pays.
Tennessee for a Lifetime is intended to help Tennesseans of all ages learn about growing older. Aging is something we all do, and to a lot of people it feels more complicated now than ever before. The goal of the Tennessee Commission on Aging and Disability (TCAD) is to provide free lessons on aging for all ages, to help people plan, get them to think, and assist them in taking action when it's in their best interest.
