MYRIDE VOLUNTEER-TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM
 
This is a volunteer-driver program known as MyRide TN, that provides door-through-door transportation for older adults important appointments and errands for a minimal annual subscription fee and a round-trip charge.  Volunteer drivers will use their personal vehicles to transport older adults to their destination. Currently, there are three MyRide programs operating in Northeast Tennessee: Johnson County, Jonesborough, Kingsport and Greeneville. 
Volunteer drivers are always needed for this rewarding program. If you are interested, contact the individual programs below. 
Who Can Ride?
Seniors 60 + years of age who do not drive and or have driving limitations. Riders must walk independently or with assistance of a cane or walker (no wheelchairs).

Many local senior centers provide transportation options to their members, either through center-owned vehicles or through vouchers for public transportation.
